Divided States of Women: #BlackGirlMagic + The Feminist Watershed Moment

Oh hi. Part of what made the last half of 2017 so great (despite the first half being wretched- see my instagram post here ) was co-hosting/executive producing the Divided States of Women podcast with the awesome Liz Plank. It all started around a dinner table, when my friend, former boss and career mentor David Goodman overheard me and Liz talking. He thought, if two women could be on opposite sides of the political spectrum, consider themselves feminists AND be civilized about how they discuss issues, this could definitely be a show. I've learned so much about the world of podcasts, commenting on iTunes (if anyone can figure out how PLEASE let me, Liz or our executive producer Nishat Kurwa know), putting out awesome product every week and the most important: the art of LISTENING.

If you haven't downloaded it yet, do it RIGHT NOW. It's the first podcast that tackles women's issues + defines what "feminism" is from both sides of the political spectrum. Our last two episodees of the season focus on the hashtag #BlackGirlMagic and the watershed moment that was everything after Harvey Weinstein allegations. Check it out and please let us know what you think!
