I was watching T.V. this morning and an ad for this learning center came on. It was all about how kids should feel like celebrating when they start doing well in school. Cut to kid in party mode, dancing around, being celebrated- then cut to the grade: it was a B+. A B+??? OMG I can't imagine my mother ever celebrating an A+++ much less a B+ when I was growing up. Hilarious. I wonder if our standards have fallen for young people or I just grew up in a "hyper expectation" household.
